Polar bears have lovable faces and are one of my favorite animals to be added to Minecraft. Since I have a pack of polar bears roaming near my village build, I wanted to share some facts about Minecraft polar bears.

1. Neutral Mob Polar bears are considered neutral mobs and are usually passive. Adult polar bears will become aggressive towards players if attacked or if they have a cub with them. All polar bears will also become hostile towards foxes.

2. Spawn Location These snow-white bears can be found in cold biomes such as; snowy mountains, snowy tundra, ice spikes, and frozen ocean biomes. Next time you spot some icebergs in the ocean take a boat to see if you can find any polar bears!

3. Fast Swimmers Polar bears are excellent swimmers in real life and the same goes for Minecraft. Angering a polar might prove a harder escape than expected as they can swim as just as fast as players. Maybe stick to viewing them from a distance.

4. Pack Animals There is no bond like a pack bond. If a polar bear is provoked by a player or mob, all other polar bears in a 41x21x41 block area will attack!

5. Endangered Sadly, polar bears are considered a venerable population in real life, and this is shown in-game because polar bears can not be bred. This also means you can't feed polar bear cubs to make them age faster. Cherish these wonderful creatures every time you see them.
